The Esplanade Gardens is a family run, non-smoking guesthouse built in the Victorian era; a Scarborough guest house of great charm and warm hospitality, in an outstanding location. We are open all year round and provide attractively decorated, clean, comfortable rooms, a hearty breakfast and a friendly lounge bar serving bar snacks for our guests.
The Esplanade Gardens Guest House is situated just 200 yards from the cliff lift down to the Spa Complex and just a 15 minute walk from the town centre and glorious harbour. We are also ideally located for those wanting to enjoy the famed Italian Gardens and are overlooked by Oliver’s Mount. A free parking permit on your arrival means you can park near the hotel without any restrictions.
For those wishing to explore the delights of the region beyond Scarborough, we are within easy reach of Whitby, York and beautiful Ryedale, as well as all the attractions, historic sites and activities that abound in Yorkshire. For many visitors though, Scarborough and our lovely neighbouring towns of Filey and Bridlington, offer more than enough to fill a short break, weekend away or full holiday.
