Derek & Jenny extend the warmest of welcomes to visitors to Scarborough and look forward to making you welcome at our guest house. There is so much to see and do in the area and we have plenty of information on hand so that you can plan your days and nights with ease. We will do all we can to make your stay memorable for all the right reasons.

The Esplanade Gardens brings is a totally non-smoking residency and we take pride in ensuring the comfort of all our guests and the cleanliness of the hotel. On arrival, guests are provided with a free parking permit that will allow you to park close to the hotel without any restrictions. Please note one night stays requiring a parking permit before the check in time of 2pm can obtain a parking permit from the hotel for a small charge of £2 for the day.

Drinking & Dining

Start your day with a hearty and delicious breakfast in our bright dining area.You can enjoy a full English breakfast which includes local produce. We have sourced our Bacon,Sausage & Black pudding from Gladvic Farm,Potter Brompton,Scarborough and our Free range eggs from Redcliffe Farm, Lebberston, Scarborough. Even our hash browns come from the McCain factory, Scarborough !! We also cater for various dietry needs and have Vegetarian options available. We also include lighter breakfast options with a choice of cereals and a fresh fruit salad..

In the friendly lounge bar area we serve a good selection of tasty snacks from our new menu. These snacks include a selection of freshly prepared Panini's,Sandwiches,Toasted sandwiches & chips to name but a few. The atmosphere in the bar is "cosy & relaxed".
